Devin Oswald

Devin Marina Oswald began playing violin at the age of four and started her musical career with Civic Youth Orchestra in San Diego, California. She was a dedicated member of the group for nine years. She attended Mannes College of Music in New York City for her undergraduate degree, during which she studied with Assistant Concertmaster of the Metropolitan Opera, Nancy Wu. With a passion for pit orchestras, she has performed in professional productions such as The Light in the Piazza, over 40 performances of The Nutcracker Ballet, and The Wizard of Oz. She recently completed a run of Sweeney Todd as concertmaster with Columbia University. Devin often performs at Lincoln Center in New York City, as well as the world renowned cabaret, 54 Below. She has had the honor of performing in the pit orchestra of the Martha Graham Dance Company, including their 100th year anniversary concert(s) at the New York City Center. She is a part of the prestigious Astra Collective, playing viola with the group that specializes in new, experimental music. She has always loved donating her time to private teaching and mentoring, and loves helping anyone find the magic in music. Devin looks forward to the next chapter of her professional career!
