Jessica Ringston

Jessica Ringston is a flutist based in New York, representing Miyazawa Flutes as an Emerging Artist. She has been featured in venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, National Sawdust, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is a three-time winner of the Molnar-Harris Chamber Music Competition and is recipient of a grant from the Presser Foundation. As a soloist, she has been featured in Martin’s Ballade with the Purchase Symphony Orchestra and in Boulez’s Memoriale with the Mannes American Composers Ensemble. This past summer, she made her international debut as a soloist at Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen in Nice, France with additional chamber performances in Valdeblore, France including a world premiere for chamber ensemble. Additionally, she is a Resident Artist with the Hunter Symphony Orchestra. Ringston holds a bachelor of music from Purchase Conservatory of Music where she studied with Tara Helen O’Connor, and she is currently pursuing a masters degree at the Mannes School of Music in the studio of Judith Mendenhall.
