Jessica Ringston

Jessica Ringston is a flutist based in New York, representing Miyazawa Flutes as an Emerging Artist. She has been featured in venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, National Sawdust, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as overseas in France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. She has collaborated with world-renowned ensembles including the Martha Graham Dance Company and Grammy-nominated Sandbox Percussion. Ringston is co-founder of chamber music ensemble the Astra Collective, where she has performed at venues including The Frick Collection and Mercury Lounge. She is a three-time winner of the Molnar-Harris Chamber Music Competition and is recipient of a grant from the Presser Foundation. As a soloist, she has been featured in Martin’s Ballade with the Purchase Symphony Orchestra and in Boulez’s Memoriale with Mannes American Composers Ensemble. Ringston holds a bachelor of music from Purchase Conservatory of Music and a master of music from the Mannes School of Music. Her principal teachers include Tara Helen O’Connor and Judith Mendenhall.
